“Americans didn’t vote for Trump because they wanted him to demolish the East Wing and pave the Rose Garden—much less enrich his family with crypto. They wanted him to unrig a system they felt was rigged against them,” Molly Jong-Fast writes.

When unions are strong, our communities and our country are strong.

Every person in our nation has benefited from the labor movement. This Labor Day, we celebrate the workers and unions who have fought for fair wages, safe workplaces, and sick leave for all of us.

This post from AOC is spot on. Finding and making bits of joy in life will keep us sane. Don't give up and don't give in to despair!
Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive

We need a wave of Democratic responses to this! Start campaigning on it. Fundraise off of it
Trump's baseless claims about the tragic plane collision in Washington, DC are not surprising—they are a pattern.

In the past, he also boosted false and disproven claims in the aftermath of terrorist attacks, a national pandemic, police brutality, and natural disasters. Here is the timeline:
How Trump makes tragedies worse, a history
The president blaming DEI for a deadly plane crash is not the first time he's peddled conspiracy theories as the nation reels from a crisis.
