Fernet Branca? I never knew this stuff still existed or was known to anyone still alive in 2025 😂

You have so many "Thought leaders" and "activist" talk about how we must do everything to stop climate change, but them going vegan is just "not feasible". It's the same with online "leftists" who will talk about political responsibilities all day but heaven forbid you ask them to become vegan. 🙄

Does it have a cinch plug so you can conveniently monologue to your henchwoman?

Talking about reducing meat consumption is about as popular as talking about solar energy in Saudi Arabia. 😂 Even if you talk to people who allegedly are all for reducing Co2 emissions.

That's exactly how I imagine a Flanagan movie to play out 🤣

Hardest title drop in gaming. Period.

It's funny to see others taking mental damage after learning about that part of the novel.

When did the US behave any different?

Going from "We defeated the Nazis" to "Wow, this Nazi ideology is quite divisive but to each their own I guess".

Aren't there also a lot of pro Palestine activists clogging up the system?

That's one of the many things I loved about Outwaters. The scenes looked *exactly* how you imagine they would look like given the circumstances - chaotic, difficult to parse and no consideration given to make it easy to follow for the audience.

I see the film crew took copious notes from Uwe Boll's incredibly successful game adaption formula 🙄

Meanwhile, my algorithm: "We noticed you were watching interviews with actual scientists talking about climate change. How about you watch some videos that tell you it's all a hoax?"

Experimented with a vertical mouse and a trackball mouse. Both left me unimpressed. The trackball felt too cumbersome for daily use, the vertical mouse felt no different than a normal one. However, my coworkers loved each item when I gifted it to them, so results may vary.

I never had an idealistic outlook but Trump getting elected not once but twice made me seriously reassess some beliefs I had about humanity.

Your last recommendation gave me Lorelei with the Laser eyes. In other words: bought Duskpunk without a second thought <3

I have read euphemisms in actual 3rd Reich documents that sugarcoated the truth better than anything this woman is saying.

The USA literally ran torture camps (aka "Black Sites") and destroyed evidence of "enhanced interrogation" (aka "Torture") on a regular basis. This is business as usual for the US security force.,

Well, of course she had to create a boogie man even in such a short video. Two derisive remarks in two parts of the video about Climate Activists and how stupid/annoying they are 🙄
November 18, 2025 at 8:26 PM
Well, that's her shtick. She started as an average, kinda dry science communicator but slowly her tone has become exactly the way you describe it. I suppose it's inevitable that the more you have to chase clicks, the more dramatic your presentation becomes.

I remember watching one interview where the journalist wanted to be a bit spicy. He asked her what she thinks of some people referring to the Tory Party conference as a Nuremberg Reichsparteitag. You could see her getting very cross at that implication.

That professor is kinda right. There are several professors turned "public experts" who develop some wild opinions with time (present company excluded, of course) 😅
