It kinda also feels like they’ve even stopped doing the different colored covers for the console too unless it’s just a new type of pattern? Feels like the whole point of swapable covers was to sort of make your own special edition console, but seems like v few games actually have them

That would’ve been sick, maybe in the future if we’re lucky?

Facts, enough said lol. Is Hackintosh just a dead platform at this point?
November 12, 2025 at 11:08 PM
What’s the end goal of said dream? Not entirely sure I’m tracking lol

I’m in the same boat lol, I really want to make the jump to Linux, even if just for gaming, but my 4070 is less than a year old and I don’t want to replace it yet

Ah, finally, a follow up to Quad Wielding
November 5, 2025 at 6:32 PM
So what hardware are you using for Dev work on a Linux system?
November 5, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Finally got one!

Very interested to read more on the topic. Any chance you’ll be including your original college paper on the topic in this collection too or is that destined to stay a Nebula exclusive?

Okay, ironically/unironically, I love seeing how people attempt to make controls feel natural on Wiimote and nunchuck
April 11, 2025 at 10:19 AM
Amazing follow up post lmao

So glad to see more of my fav creators joining here

I did a few “print-in-place” prints that had moving parts when I first got mine since they serve generally as good benchmarks and can help hone in parts of the printing. Turbo_Sunshine’s engines are great for that!

Hey reaching out on here since the queue line said it was gonna be a few days; what do the blue curtains mean in level 3?
December 5, 2024 at 4:44 PM
Holy cow that things massive! Okay now I have follow-ups. 1) is the battery of a standard that is still being made and 2) was the board designed with the ability to switch the battery in-mind, or is it soldering iron time?
November 26, 2024 at 4:52 PM
Curiosity question since I don’t think I’ve worked on a system that was older than 1998: what’s the situation with a battery replacement cuz I sure don’t see a CR2032?
November 26, 2024 at 4:48 PM
When you do your yearly recap, I think out of pun obligation you’ll have to put it as either the 9th game you talk about or have it as the 9th game listed in the credit roll of all completed games at the beginning

pcpartpicker.com does an alright job making sure your parts of choice are compatible, including case/cooling dimensions for the most part

Oh shit, I didn’t known that these guys invented ARM! Can’t believe I took a full semester-length class on the ARM Assembly language and never got taught that!

I feel like Acorn is a company I have no background knowledge on, nor what their impact was. Anyone able to give me the cliff’s notes on them or link me an article to read up on?
November 15, 2024 at 3:54 PM
Holy shit, dude you’ve designed some of the most eye-catching video thumbnails that ive seen! Not joking when I say several of your designs have introduced me to some of my favorite creators. Keep it going, you’re doing terrific!
November 15, 2024 at 4:12 AM
Nah, don’t give it that attitude it’s the best part of the process: find the card that makes the number you want in the games you want with the right CPU. It’s normally why I pick CPU first

Friends of mine have reported good experience with Nobara. Have you looked at benchmarks for 5700 XTs? Their performance nowadays ain’t terrible if your aim is 1440p with upscaling
November 15, 2024 at 2:31 AM
Also for RAM, it’s actually not that much more to get up to 32gb assuming you’re talking DDR4. Silicon Power has a kit I’ve used in a number of builds over the years without fail, and G.Skill has a few kits that are only a couple bucks more. I’d call it good future proofing ultimately

Fair enough. Assuming you’re aiming for 2tb for the main drive given modern game file size nowadays, SATA works to cut down on cost, but those losses in speed nowadays assuming you’re running Windows 11 in all of its bloat... Def be sure you’re going for something with a good amount of cache
