I recognised Dennis Healey, ex chancellor of exchequer, ex Labour Party deputy leader. He said "Well, fuck me gently, they've put the price up!".

I was behind an elderly gentleman waiting to enter the carpark of my local railway station in East Sussex, UK. He was having trouble operating the pay machine, so I got out to see if I could help.
