It isn’t radical. It’s decent. It’s humane. It’s what is the default. Anything else is sadistic.

Reading the comments on a news report that #doctors in #England want to #ban #smacking makes me despair. If you got smacked as a kid, and you think you turned out ok, you, in fact, didn’t turn out ok. I used to spank my kids. It was wrong. I haven’t spanked my youngest. The difference is immense.
