I like clever stuff, I like dumb stuff, but it never seems to be enough.
Sounds like globalism to me. 🤪

That was my favourite part in the Street Fighter movie.

Any kid who played call of duty growing up knows this too lol.

I really liked it. Easily my 3rd favourite of the franchise. Which doesn’t sound great, but the Captain America franchise is very solid. The First Avenger is really nice different pace from the rest of the entire MCU too.

Whoa shit! I know this guy!

As for the “mystery” antagonist identity. I mean, that was never an issue. Anyone who’s ever read a comic in their life knew that it was coming. In the same way Asylum ended. But I am very intrigued about the beef surrounding the issues on the PC version.

Great clarification off the bat! :) I steered clear of the PC launch of it and the news surrounding that lol. So my entire breadth of knowledge around the game is about the console versions. Lol

I don’t recall it doing terrible at launch. But I am very curious what you’re referring to when you mention “bolted all of that.” Please elaborate!! :)

Sounds kinda like DEI hiring to me. 🤪

I think I might even skip it…

It’d be VERY interesting to see if they do it with less than 24 hrs to act.

Oof. Where to begin. I think my favourite part is not only is he ignoring the free trade agreement in the USMCA, but he’s also either forgetting or ignoring that HE renegotiated it during his previous term. So any deficits his bitching about, would be as a result of his negotiations…

These are both factors that would (in a less polarized and cult-subscribed US) make him unelectable from the voters viewpoint.

Imagine if Trump was actually every bit the successful businessman he pretends to be. Then there might be merit to the (financial) policies he’d wanna put in place. He’d still be a piece of shit though with a VERY checkered past both from both a racial and sexual aspect. 2/
January 6, 2025 at 4:55 PM
Yes, but some of those feels I’m referring to are based on merit. Like, he has a VERY checkered past as an individual that is concerning that does hurt his image. Especially as time goes. 1/

Even longer with our societies average attention span decreasing by the day. All this compiled with the misinfo campaign fuelled by Musk on Twitter, and the parties pre-disposition of hatred towards progressiveness, creates a perfect storm of reasons to step down if they want to keep the PM position
January 6, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Yep. Never said otherwise.
But that noticeable change is coming slower and slower to many. Some not at all. Others stay blissfully uninformed as well. Many don’t know about the dental program being rolled out. Or the $10 daily daycare. But these are changes over 9 years. A decade is a long time. 1/

Thing is, (as of this writing) Pierre hasn’t really campaigned on making any drastic changes aside from a different direction in culture-war stuff. So ironically enough, the change people actually want most, is what he’s focused on least. But the gender war gets clicks and sells ad space.
January 6, 2025 at 4:37 PM
But also a (better) chance for the party to keep the PM in the upcoming election rather than split the vote and let Pierre in.

There has been a lot of criticism of Trudeau (more as an individual, less-so with the direction of the party while he’s at the head. His popularity has been less-so than the party he heads for some time now. Him stepping back does allow for not only fresh blood in the party, 2/
