Myshka's taking it easy this #Caturday. My sister visited on Thursday and brought along her dog. Defending the house from that intruder took a lot out of Myshka. Even two days after successfully expelling the dog, she needs rest.

This was a pleasant surprise. Myshka will gladly curl up on my chest if I'm lying on my back, but seating herself on my lap when I'm using the computer is practically unheard of.

After an autocorrect mishap changed "Tonks" to "Tanks," I've jokingly referred to Zuzu and Myshka as "the Tanks." Zuzu here is a KV-1. The effort to reduce her fuel consumption is ongoing.

Decided to mix it up today and go on a nature walk. Didn't see any sanderlings, unfortunately, but I did happen across some other seabirds near the end.

I was saddened to see that Soad's account got deleted so quickly, but overjoyed to see that so many people donated to help her and Omar in such a short period of time.

My sibling decided to replace their beaten-up old desk chair (frankly, I should do the same with mine). The cushion on the new one arrived without any fur on it, though, so Myshka chose to correct that, free of charge.

I'm always pleased to see these guys when I go on a walk. Part of me wishes I had a higher-quality camera than my phone on hand for these occasions, but carrying one of those around every time I go on a walk just in case I see something worth photographing isn't worth it to me.

I've been seeing these little guys near my workplace quite a bit lately. Lizards are nothing rare in my area, but judging by their size, these ones are quite young. I'd estimate that this one was no more than three inches (~7.5cm) long. I wonder if they were born nearby...

Saw this one on Thursday and snapped a picture on Friday. Maybe the owner(s) just forgot, but I like to think they chose not to lower it--or that the person they tasked with lowering it refused.
