Terrible timing, I know, but Roosevelt argued that Americans needed wars to keep them manly and pushed American colonialism. Grant was plagued by corruption. I’ll pass on all that energy.

Honestly, I spent 2024 thinking that Trump voters might abandon him for being anti-democratic. I didnt realize until after the election that not everybody cares about democracy. Which is nuts.
