I live in BC and do not pay 53% taxes. I’ve attached the tax rates for 2025 for Canada and BC. Yes, you could get to 50%+ but that only on net income over a quarter of a million dollars. Not on the tables, but the first $16,129 is tax-free.

Added threads to this warp - thankfully have some lovely spools made by my dad to weight these threads off the loom. Had to add threads because messed up counting, even with a clicker to help.

Enjoying weaving the hygge blanket from Jane Stafford Textiles so I made it in a few colourways. My loom wasn’t wide enough so I wove them doublewidth and by the fourth one, got a good centre fold 😊

Inukshuk at Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Glacier in Alberta. This was taken in the summer but it was definitely a cooler day. I was shocked at how much the glacier had receded.

First finish of the year! It is the hygge blanket kit from Jane Stafford Textiles. It is so cozy!!
I did it double width = first time for trying that technique. I think I have a fix for the white line down the middle and will be making several more blankets.
