Gemini had so much trouble with basic stuff, especially considering what Google SHOULD be able to pull off with its data, that I decided it was not worth paying for anymore.

Now that I found a device that's only slightly choking on the PDFs and I have them separately loaded, it looks like the 900 page file is bigger (700 MB) than the 1500 page file because the 900 page one has a bunch of full color page scans. The 1500 pp one has many microfilmed imgs that are quite bad

When I got them transferred, it turns out that one is ~700 MB and is one individual, and the other is ~130 MB - both senior field grade officers. USAAF/USAF Colonel William B. Colgan is ~700MB (900 pp), almost maxing out the disk size on the one file. My cousin USN Captain John Colgan is the ~130MB.
