It’s…fine because of its intensity. You’ve probably watched Black Hawk Down and Warfare’s a worse version of it. And I dig Garlands stuff.

There is also a lot of Dark Souls in it, as I’m getting further. Upgrades at bonfires and all that jazz. They’re the flags of failed expeditions in this game but, c’mon, bonfires.

Oh shit! Recognize you from the Funhaus days! It’s a JRPG a la Final Fantasy but with Like a Dragon active inputs cranked to 11. If you parry and dodge correctly, you never take damage. The art style, world building, and writing are fantastic as well. Highly recommend.

They kinda did Apocalypse Now in the Red Harvest book. Sucks that it’s a zombie story but the audio book is worth it for the cacophony of Ferengi Screams whenever the zombies show up.

God, I think of that episode most days since a sports card shop opened up next door to where I get my coffee. I want to go in there asking if they have MtG boosters to flip the script.

Is the “junk drawer” just a Midwest thing? Batteries, thumbtacks, the bad scissors, near-empty pens. If you only think about it once a year, boom; junk drawer.
