Work update: I still love my job but I have new Christian coworker who i share a desk with and im pretty sure she is racist and pissed off at my desk decorations cuz she added two yt jesuses and a prayer stone to protect herself from my rose quartz crystal 🙃

Holy shit! I did indeed see a Hooded Warbler this morning! I didn't trust myself and let someone tell me that it was prob a common yellowthroat( did see a few of those) but no, it was a hooded warbler! I spotted it and identified it on my own and I'm so fucking proud of myself! (Not my pic)

Couldn't get a shots of majority of what I saw today but did see a yellow-bellied sapsucker and 3 rose-breasted grosbeaks including this male. Also saw 7 migrating warblers! A wonderful 4 hours of birding! #birds

I got to see a Northern Parula yesterday and they are officially my favorite warbler! Did you know that when they do one of their trilling songs, they shake their little bird butts? Well i didn't and it was the cutest thing to witness! I love spring migration!

Got a puppy bird at my suet today ( Downy Woodpecker) I didn't want to raise the blinds cuz that would have scared him away but he spent a few minutes at the suet and eating bugs off of our trees! #birds

Since spring migration is about to pop off in Central tx: throw back to last April when I stood in my back yard for 2 hours, trying to identify this female American Redstart that was hanging in my neighbor's bush. I can't wait for all the migrating warblers to visit our yards again!

I forgot to share: I finally saw a yellow-bellied sapsucker last Saturday! I spotted him while on a group bird walk but thought it was a downy at first when I saw the red head but I'm laughing about it cuz their differences are very obvious to me now.

I did it. I cut off almost 2 years of hair growth last night. I still plan on starting my loc journey over but I just didn't have the time to comb out the rest of my locs and to have my mom put a new set in. This just works better for now

I always knew there were dogs who chased their tails but none of mine did until I got this cute dumb-dumb. She will happily spend minutes, running in a circle with her tail in her mouth with so much joy. Its adorable
