Self portrait made in the danse macabre tradition as my father, who supported my art career, was approaching his end courtesy of cancer. Remember you will die, best make the most of life.

She has her back to a printing press, as if defending it as she faces a skeletal representative of death, who points to the hour glass raised up near her ink brayer. Both are in motion, the skeleton on the ball of one foot as its other leg is in the air as if prancing, and her hair flying behind her, as if she's just turned swiftly.

Day 10 of #ArtAdventCalendar - "Moon Bunny"

I carved a photo of our sleeping bunny and added the crescent moon - probably my signature at this point. 🌙

Anyway, I turned the print into a handmade sticker. Several parts of the process were difficult for me so I don't want to do that again. Haha

I feel like that Speedball Spinback would really help my left wrist that always hurts for a couple days after any carving (it's the hand I use to turn blocks) but it's almost $400 🥲🥲🥲
