It's crazy. I was stunned by how Carney just blew it off like it was nothing. 3 Canadian nationals were executed by China a few weeks ago. It's being reported there have been some Chinese Canadians forcefully removed from Canada back to China by Chinese officials.

Carney isn't turning out to be great. He's refusing to remove a candidate that encouraged people to turn over his Conservative candidate for the bounty that Hong Kong had taken out on him.

Thanks. I just don't want the average American to be hurt financially etc by any of this. Canadians typically try to help, it's really difficult to do things that may hurt others. Mango madman has not left us a choice, sadly.

Same here. I feel conflicted cause I like our US neighbours but we have to do what we can to protect & support our own country as best we can.

I hear ya. I voted for Trudeau in 2015. I say I didn't leave the Liberal party, the liberal stopped being liberal.
I've not voted liberal again since. Trudeau is off his bulb & I don't see Carney being much different.
I've voted Progressive Conservative & Conservative, Liberal & NDP at times.

Democrats. The current Conservative leader's adopted father is gay, his wife from Columbia. One of his deputy leaders is a lesbian & the other a Sikh. Poilievre has been interviewed by Peterson but I think it was to get ahead of the 51st state stuff with Trump supporters & clear up misinfo.

I typically vote Liberal but Trudeau is off the rails. Trudeau had been on a downward trend for quite a while even before Trump came into office. Trump seems to take credit for Trudeau resigning but it was already going that way.
