Too cloudy to see the aurora tonight but last night we had a spectacular show.
Sky transitions between greenish blue at the bottom to bright magenta to deep purple. In the foreground are trees in shadow large and small evergreens interspersed with twiggy box elders.

Pac Man lichen #FungiFriends
On a rock on the ground there is a circular patch of lichen where most of it is bright yellow-orange with a white-yellow patch on the right makes it look like an open-mouth Pac Man about to gobble some dots.

A Portuguese Water Dog looks directly into the camera. She has floppy ears cute brown eyes and curly black hair. If you were to pet her you’d say, oh she’s so soft! And you’d be right.

Happy Halloween! I don’t put my daughter’s face on social media but she seized the day and went as Elsa to school and trick-or-treated as Mae in Panda form. As consolation, here’s my dog putting up with my nonsense.
