Our Curator & Interns have been re-pinning insect specimens into new entomology drawers. A highlight? Working with moths collected by 1960s Durham students! Often overlooked in favour of butterflies 🦋 moths are 10x more diverse with 2500 species in the UK! They play a crucial role in ecosystems!
