Maybe, but she wasn't "gone gone". She missed scenes at times, going back and forth between sets... and both were in Georgia... If I remember correctly.

Just that she'd grown attached to him, they had a bond... and we see the very few photos of her being emotional, said by someone else, that she was upset about Andy's departure. You're so close to someone that when they leave, even if for a short time, you miss their presence.

Nicotero said the first shot was to the point where it couldn't be salvaged, that they had to reshoot it. That's my memory of an interview, but I can't tell you when, where, or who with... long forgotten.
