It'd be nice if retailers were this enthusiastic about characters starring black characters. Mr Terrific Year One is struggling right now and Im fearful for Static Batman Beyond in November. I'm happy for @gwillow.me tho!

One of the questions I like to lead with in work meetings is "What are we trying to solve?"
From there, we can figure out what the desired outcome is, if it's actually needed or worth the cost. But starting with pinning down motivation makes the path forward a lot easier in my opinion.

@ssnyder1835.bsky.social has always written some great stories, but he won a fan for life at @dragoncon.org this weekend when he was so incredibly kind and nice talking Batman with my 13 year old daughter. Just Absolute class all the way around!

The family watched #Superman last night and loved it. Felt like it brought all of the comic book goodness to the screen. Daughter couldn't stop talking about it & even got out all her comics to go through when we got home. Thanks @jamesgunn.bsky.social and all the team that made it happen!
