Yes, I learned in elementary school in NW Missouri during the mid-late 60s. It was definitely a part of the curriculum. These were around the room, above the chalkboards & bulletin boards, as a reference if needed.

Just rejoined my old (now new again) hometown library & grabbed a couple of books yesterday. I'm halfway through this one already. Not sure why it jumped out at me as I have 0 interest in fashion, but it's been an informative & interesting read! 👍
