Think of it like building a house. You wouldn’t start with the roof, right? You need a solid foundation first—something strong enough to support everything else.

✅ Employers can teach job-specific skills, but they can’t teach resilience, initiative, or reliability.

Let me introduce the Skills Pyramid - a practical framework that makes it clear:

✅ Personal qualities, soft skills, and digital & AI literacy are the foundation of all future skill development.

Employers want to know who these young individuals are as people, what qualities they bring, and whether they’ve developed the essential soft skills and digital literacy needed to hit the ground running.

Employers care less about qualifications and degrees and more about qualities and skills when it comes to employing school leavers.!!
