I'm in the UK & I'm afraid my first thought was "why is this getting so much coverage when total destruction, mass murder & genocide in Palestine gets next to nothing?" My sympathies & donations are for people who are suffering far worse without any publicity, help or compassion forthcoming.

It's called institutional racism! I stupidly thought things were improving Several years ago but now we have right wing politics on both sides of the HOP & a corrupt media that collaborates. Not to mention too many ignorant people who fall for the narrative rather than question it.

Sometimes I really wish I lived nearer London & this is one of them! I'm a childcarer & you have been a hero to my children for years. Every one can recite We're Going On A Bear Hunt cover to cover. Mind you shouting "I'm not scared" at their parents has raised a few questions occasionally 😉

The state of the sea & river water in Cornwall is disgusting most of the time not just when they admit to overflows. You can frequently see scum & brown water but as long as they keep making money no one who could change it gives a toss!
