I love Santa Clause: The Movie because it’s very much a film of two halves, the first being a classic sweet and charming sentimental Christmas tale, and then John Lithgow suddenly rocks up an hour into it and just fucks that shit up.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Neither Jesus, nor I, am impressed with your plastic Christmas tree.

Biggest gut punch of the day/month/possibly year: Discovering a work Teams chat group called ‘The Cool Kids’ that I’m not included on.

Frankly these things were a mess, such lofty ambitions, such questionable execution. The perfect embodiment of Christmas. 5/7 (with a Kombucha reaction face).

If this place is to prove it’s worth, it needs to create its own Gary Barlow’s massive son moment.

It’s taken me a while to drum up the energy to sign on to yet another social site, but this definitely feels much more like the ‘other place’ than all the other pretenders so far. I mean Threads is just so incredibly whiney.
