Coming Soon: Tax Revolt (originally launched into cyberspace on 11/16/2008) Dang it! I was going to send this e-mail earlier, before I had heard anyone else saying this. Well, now someone else--someone with a pretty darn good record of predicting stuff--is saying it. Oh well. In short, I think very soon you will see a national tax revolt. Now, I wish that it would happen as a result of millions of people finding out they don't actually OWE federal income taxes. I'd settle for some philosophical-based revolt, like the American Revolution, where they oppose being robbed on principle. But I'm afraid it will be simpler even than that: people will be running out of money (or what passes for money these days), and the government will be too stupid to reduce its extortionist practices-- in fact, it will try to steal much MORE from people (especially with Barack Ostalin in office), because "government" never thinks that it should do with less.

Arf, barked the dog-like storm rolling outside of the hospital. It was about 8:30 on a Monday night, and X was about to be born. The irony of the weather was not lost on the super-smart infant, who was using their power to wiggle out of the temporarily expanded birth canal just as lightning arrived through unknown means, like a stray dog’s white hair on a gray woolen blanket, which is being likened to the sky in this passage BEEP cried the mother, interrupting the sentence. It was a robot mother. X was not a robot, but the experience of being carried in a robotic womb would forever leave them with heightened empathy towards artificial intelligence, which is now a hot-button issue that will be discussed in detail later on. But at that moment, the only hot-button the baby genius was pondering was the nuclear button, as X had little faith in the then-current president of America’s restraint. After all, there were numerous remarks that the young X was now citing in their head, and having catalogued them all, they put the position of the doomsday clock in that moment at a precise 11:29 PM. Just then, a dog somewhere in the hospital barked, and in a moment of complete infant-mindedness, X adjusted the position of the doomsday clock 5 minutes closer to midnight. It was this weakness to being scared, and more specifically spookification by dog that would eventually drive them to madness. But thats a story that will start much later, likely in volume 5 or 6.
