Speaking of which, going back to watch the rest of the Anne Shirley eps now, I’m split between younger Anne Shirley going to college, still evading Gilbert’s love, and the older Anne Blythe who has given birth to their 7th or 8th kid.

ah yes! i've used safety pins too. but i find un/clasping annoying, and i've pricked my fingers a few too many times. i prefer paperclips over them.

bobby pins! that's what i used when i was starting out. but i've lost them over the years as i don't use them in hair now. but they are great markers!

to be honest, they're not the best. the sharp blunt ends tend to catch the yarn making it difficult to put on/take off. but they work in a pinch as in the case with these multiple picots.

FINALLY. some really quality time with Anne and Diana. It’s been years and whole books since we’ve shared real space and conversation with just the two of them.
