I've been really enjoying John's art on bark but i need much more practice! This piece of silver birch bark was VERY fragile! I wish I'd been able to capture the stained glass effect of it's actual wings!

Monsieur Epimeria Rubriques stands by the South Pole. He has red orange spikes like a mohawk that matches his skin. He has a white handlebar mustache and is wearing strange glasses that look a bit like long pointy ears that reach above his head. He has an elaborate white and orange cape with a purple lining over a white vest. 2 of his four arms are on his hip and his four spindle legs are wearing tall lace up purple boots. My rendition of a Black Bladder-bodied Meloid sitting on the end of a wooden ruler. It has a large shiny black carapace with turquoise, lime green, and yellow textured spots that reflect the light and give a metallic look. (Although, I didn't quite capture the glory of that.) His small shiny black and turquoise head os pointing down and his long black legs with spiky feet grip the front and end of the ruler. He sprays to be a bit larger than an inch.
