The rest of peaches were processed but I was short half a pound so I threw in some frozen figs. The recipe was not proofread , made 12 x 8 oz jar not the six it suggested. This jam has little crystalized ginger chunks and whiskey in it

I am easily bored so we are now getting into more recipes from this book. Today I'll be working on the San Francisco Sourdough recipe with new to me bread shapes and baking methods.

Meant to follow up on bread: I did a 6 hour re-proof in the fridge then 2 hours on counter which produced abt 90% rise of what I'd hoped... baked as usual and turned out fine! Served with homemade hummus and red pepper dip last night- fantastic
