Paris has a new square, it seems. Post-Olympics, the entire eastern half of Place de la Concorde has been cleared of traffic. The potted palm trees are a bit incongruous in the biting cold, but what a great space. Before summer, this was the big traffic mess it had been for decades. Visionary !
