One thing we do agree on is our feelings about religion.

There are so many different economic theories that I hope will spark interest beyond Marx.

I disagree that labor under Capitalism is invariably “exploited.” I would argue that under Marxism, the apparatchiks condemned generations of families (like my own) to working the same jobs in the same factories. Labor mobility helps economies succeed snd us a form of freedom, IMHO.
