Yeah, it’s “okay”. As in better than nothing. I almost wonder if it’d make more sense to port over babble for mouth tracking and use mediapipe for eye tracking- it seems at lease reasonable for eye tracking from my testing so far.

I was looking at trying to bootstrap mediapipe- but that pretty much needs a port at this point to visionOS. Using the browser seems to actually kind of work, so maybe if one could get something pumping in through that. Otherwise, video stream somewhere which isn’t ideal

Oh yeah no it’s definitely not a “any USB device” thing. But also they have the usb port towards the back

All in all it was a feature that felt like it had potential and was headed in the right direction. _However_ it didn’t feel “finished”

3. When we did get it to work it was quite nice. But it was still oddly clunky at times. We got to share an environment in headset, but like the Digital Crown controls to fade it in and out didn’t really want to work like it normally does. It felt more like a bug than expected behavior.

2. SharePlay is neat, but if you want to share content with the person next to you it seems like you need to have them added to a family plan or they need to also own the content. The UX made it seem like this was not the case so long as we were right next to each other. That was kind of weird.

1. Trying to start a FaceTime call was unnecessarily complicated. He’s mainly an Android user. But he has an Apple account and was wearing the headset at the time. It didn’t seem to want to work half of the time. We eventually did get it working, but it wasn’t super intuitive.
