RIP Nought 💔 20/1/2023 - 31/8/2025 RTA - driver didn’t stop, the car behind did, took him to vet who called me. It was instant, they said. Grateful thanks to the kind lady who stopped. At least I know. Brought him home and showed him to his twin brother Zero.

#LochArkaig osprey Breac (7P7) flying over Cantabria on the north coast of Spain on August 30th when he was 97 days old. Last seen in Lochaber on August 15th!

That's brilliant news, thanks for sharing. Nest cam watchers, like me!, live for sightings away from the nest area. Aurora's a very pretty #Osprey, we hope she returns safely next Spring and fledges chicks with her mate #GarryLV0. Please keep the photos coming!

Massive thanks and congratulations to Morag Hughes of Fort William who swam 11 miles along the length of #LochArkaig today, raising funds for our restoration of the forest. Morag completed her big swim in 10 hours, 6 minutes and 37 seconds.🧵 1/2

Breac the osprey took his first flight today! The first of our pair to fledge.❤️

Until this moment his world was the width of a double bed. Now he has a vast landscape for a playground and in a few weeks he will cross continents. Amazing!

Our osprey nestcam trees at #LochArkaig have slippery sleeves to deter pine martens.

Quite tricky too, for the climber who carried out pre-season checks a couple of weeks ago.😀
