I have a lovely class of C1 ESL students and we were chatting about electricity (the topic popped up!) and I told them my partner works as an electric engineer… now they’re all asking questions about how electricity works and are begging me to bring my partner to talk about it.

I love being a writer and being envious of my characters.
So growing up I had a strange relationship with my father due to my mother’s intervention (it’s a complicated story, but my mom thought moving us around two different countries was a good idea)… my dad and I never bonded because (1/3)

I got bullied in school for being a writer and for being a ‘geek’ (literally because they saw me watching Markiplier’s FNAF videos).
10 years later I’m still a writer, and they’re jobless living with their parents (and I saw them in the cinema watching the FNAF movie) so I guess I won that (?)
