I can assume the sale of RFID protection clothing for pregnant people is in response to this idea that pregnant people provide free wifi.

I am making a bunch of snowflakes for a crafting project. This is my chemistry nerd snowflake showing the crystalline structure of ice and hydrogen bonding.
A hexagon shaped piece of fabric decorated with beads. The beads are arranged in a hexagonal pattern. Large light teal-colored pearly glass beads represent oxygen and are the points of hexagons and are next to smaller white pearly glass bead which represent covalent bonds. The white beads are next to dark teal-colored beads, which are smaller than the large light teal beads and represent hydrogen. The hydrogen beads are next to two tiny white pearly beads that connect to the oxygen beads and represent hydrogen bonds. The hydrogen beads, covalent bonds, and hydrogen bond beads form the sides of the hexagons.

I am not sure what kind of bird this is, but it is one of my favorite photos of a bird I have ever taken. Bird was on Barro Colorado Island in the Panama Canal and interested in what us tourists were doing.

The entrance to the express lanes of this HEB (Texas grocery store) has wires scored in the floor that is definitely the same type as used in streets to determine if there is a car waiting for a light.

Drafting tools from engineering school like 30, 60 triangle comes in handy when making proper fabric snowflakes. Because improper 8-sided fake snowflakes are all kinds of wrong.

This painting is making me laugh unbelievably hard. I don’t even think it is great technically, but it’s just silly.

I can’t decide if these look more like flowers or gears. Now I thinking of stitching flowers that work like gears.
