This giant pile of potatoes was our “snack” about 2 hours before dinner 🤣🤣

I spent a chunk of the day designing some new earrings / necklaces for 3D printing. Designs are online if anyone wants them: makerworld.com/en/models/17... Paul did a bunch of fish tank maintenance, so we’re rewarding ourselves with martinis while we wait for the sourdough pizza crust to rise.

Enjoying a few days in Ohio with sweet corn for dinner every evening. Yesterday we had it with Thai slaw and tofu with peanut sauce, and tonight it was with pad Thai. I’ve also had delicious watermelon margaritas, puzzles, and quality time with friends. 💖

I’m here at #fossy and have a few CHAOSS earrings and stickers. Find me if you’d like some. With my bright purple hair, I’m not hard to find 😂 #fossy2025

Paul and I had a fun weekend in Bristol! We used the Gromit statues as an excuse to explore various parts of Bristol. We also saw 2 Banksys and had delicious food and cocktails. Now we’re back at home relaxing with happy hour martinis.

I got to hang out at the House of Commons in Parliament this evening! I had a great time at the OpenUK launch for our most recent AI Openness update report “From Agentic to Public Good in 2025”!

It’s good to be home after almost 2 weeks of travel! I’m enjoying a watermelon and mint margarita with a tajin rim while we wait for Paul’s homemade sourdough pizza crust to finish doing its thing.

I had a very busy week in Denver for #OSSummit with 2 panel presentations, facilitating a hackathon project, and MCing CHAOSScon. But I also had fun with friends, found good food, and saw a few sights in my between event commitments. Now, I am so ready to be home after almost 2 weeks on the road.

For those of you in Denver for #OSSummit with some to spare … I know it’s a bajillion degrees out, but the botanical garden is lovely, and it even has a Chihuly!

We followed up with some very spicy Korean gochujang cauliflower and wilted spinach with peanut sauce. Served with kimchi and Japanese pickles.

We’re having a rare warm day with no rain here in the UK, so I think we’re required to lounge in our shady back garden with a Pimms 😁
June 13, 2025 at 3:40 PM
I’ve lived in places with different jays (blue jays, steller’s jays), but I think the ones here in the UK are the prettiest. We see them all the time in our back garden, and I’m incapable of seeing one without telling it, “well, aren’t you a pretty bird” 🤣

Wrapping up the weekend with happy hour Manhattans and from scratch vegan pizza using Paul’s sourdough crust and homemade cashew cheese. Next up, 24 hour trip to Madrid starting tomorrow. 😁

Me: this is a good song

Him: But is it really?

Me: well, I like it.

Him: it’s ok, I’m not silently judging you 🤣

In related news, we made a delicious homemade pizza with Paul’s sourdough and cashew cheese. (2/2)

I’ve officially been a British Citizen for a few weeks, but now it feels official!
May 23, 2025 at 7:20 PM
I had my citizenship ceremony today, so I am now officially a UK citizen! Paul presented me with a UK “welcome pack” after the ceremony 🤣 and we celebrated at our local Indian restaurant with a bottle of Prosecco and lunch! I still have my US citizenship, since I can keep both (dual citizenship). 🇬🇧🇺🇸

We’re back to making our own cocktails after 2 weeks of holidays. The resort we stayed at had pink and white plumeria flowers all over the place, so I designed some new 3D printed cocktail toppers to remember our stay in Thailand.

We’re still enjoying ourselves while relaxing with delicious food and cocktails in Thailand.

Yesterday, while I was sitting in my beach chair, I heard a stick fall out of a tree and land on my umbrella. After the stick started moving around, I realized that it was an adorable lizard! #Thailand
April 25, 2025 at 12:16 AM
We’re continuing to enjoy relaxing, reading, drinking fruity drinks and eating delicious food here in Thailand. We’ve also confirmed that Paul is still a mosquito magnet - he has a bajillion mosquito bites and because they flock to him, I have 0 bites.

After flying all night and getting to our hotel in Thailand this afternoon, I finally feel like I’m on holiday. I’m relaxing next to the pool, I can see the ocean, and I have a rum cocktail with ginger and lime. 🏝️
April 18, 2025 at 8:36 AM
I’m on vacation for the next couple of weeks! Now we just need to get through the 20+ hours of travel that it will take us to get to where we’re staying in Thailand, and then it will feel like I’m on vacation 😁🌴🏖️🍹
