The hits just keep on coming from this run of ASM! This issue did a great job with delivering entertaining action and continuing to build on Peter's relationship with the rest of the diverse crew, including a new-ish member.

Now seems like a good time to remind you all that Elle Fanning is my main choice for Power Girl. Her ability to switch between funny, vulnerable, and intimidating is PERFECT for PG. Heck, she even has the same short blonde hair and wears a white outfit for most of this movie.

I know most of us hear the DCAU voices in our heads when we read the mainline DC comics (Conroy as Batman, Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman, Newbern/Daley as Superman, etc), but I don't think they quite fit with the Absolute Universe.

Dick and Kara are such a fun team. They're like Jeff and Britta or a more enjoyable version of Sam and Diane. Their back and forth is always great to see and I'm glad they got another dedicated issue.
