Veilguard's utter failure is a case to be studied. It went so far below expectations that EA decided to throw it into subscription services sooner than ever in order to at least get a bit of a return from Sony.

Despite living in a rather spacious home, I don't have an office space to stream from.
I move my laptop and PS5 to the living room each time I stream, and I use my old janky headset microphone.

It's not wanting worse graphics, it's that focused experiences are being more successful overall in proportion to their cost.
