As a teenager (about sixteen) around 2005, I experienced life events typical of a coming-of-age story: loss, responsibility, mortality, and depression. But a big shout-out to my special interests from this year. Watching supernatural crime dramas and sentimental kaiju movies made me feel mature.

The last gift of 2024 was the UK DVD release of NBC's Journeyman, starring Kevin McKidd and Moon Bloodgood. Incredibly formative show for me.
