💯true. He reached his level as Mayor of Chicago + the world changed since he left politics. Too many like him in Democratic Party, though.

I meant the secretary / admin(the Moira character). In the book, I think she figures out what happens and tells someone vs Felix Cortes killing her. But the basic storyline is similar

So the Planet of the Apes always worried me but Ocens of the Octopi is much worse. The image of them overthrowing their captors while being “farmed” seems like a possibility.

Yes, like most , many years ago. I remember it not being his best work, but still engaging. The movie seems to parallel the book, from what I remember.

I think this is their back door way to keeping power. Don’t be surprised if Congress doesn’t come back until 2026 elections(maybe not then, either). Trump will just ignore court orders, pay who he wants / needs and squillionaires will run amok, like medieval Europe.

One of the talking points now is he is redoing the bunker underneath the East wing, so they had to tear the building down( not true), but the whole thing points to him not leaving ( if he is still among the living) in 2028.

It was #9 in usa but not in worldwide box office. Just a good year for movies; Pretty Woman, Ghost, Home Alone, Hunt for Red October , Total Recall, etc.

I met Jim Lovell at an event as a kid and got his autograph, which I of course lost. I also remember EAA managed to get a bunch of the Apollo astronauts together for Oshkosh fly in one year ( 2002?) . So amazing to hear their stories.
