I've seen Breaking Bad - air traffic controllers should be treated nicely.

I read this as "internet was good when only a specific subculture of people were on it". I prefer today's internet that's useful to everyone, not just us, nerds. Even if that means the internet feels worse most of the time.

I thought that science is objective and apolitical, but the results never are because it's done by people who are inevitably political. So we kinda have it both ways.
