I mean it’s not that long, but it yeah it is limited scope and also (atleast as far as I’ve read) really doesn’t provide solutions.

He presents hedonic depression as being epiphanic (which frankly did capture me) but after thinking for 2 seconds, this is just depression. A clear result of incomplete anhedonia. If I feel a lack of pleasure I’m going to do the most pleasurable things.

I am happy to read that you think he improves though, because these are unflattering/annoying parts of reading a book that is otherwise pretty cool.

I get that, but I see it more as just being very steadfast in his beliefs.

Don’t get reactionary (assuming the political pejorative) though. Seems he wants grand change, not just to dial the clock back to when things were a bit better.

Myopic I think is his biggest issue (dyslexia is capitalism).
