Strive makes it next to impossible to unlock all the figures in Digital Figure Mode because of the Gacha Fishing system, but I hope they'll one day give players an easier way to earn in-game currency to unlock everything.
So we can finally appreciate the game the way it was meant to be appreciated.

I still think we need an Isuka "Free for All" mode.
If they put BlazBlue and Guilty Gear characters in Soul Calibur 7, I will never buy another fighting game again for as long as I live.

Give me something fun that lets me do what I want.
If it's not entirely balanced. I don't really care about that.
Only competitive players care about balance, and most of them play money matches at tournaments nobody else can afford to go to.
Even just a casual freedom mode would be great.

Good balance has a lot more in common with musical composition than it does AP Statistics. It requires harmonious choices, purposeful imbalance of volume and frequency, and tempo to achieve the desired emotional effect. What works in one song won't necessarily work in another.

Playing GG with new tech constantly reminds me of the fact I hate that I can't do what I want.
Like, why can't I string 3 Bandit Bringers in a single combo off counterhit? Who is stopping me and WHY?

The new changes to Guilty Gear Strive feel very gimmicky to me.
There's too much focus on spending resources to get somewhere. There's too much combo restriction and less combo freedom than I'd like.
Take a cue from French Bread and 8ing games, please?
