Getting there with entity trees in GP2D. The eyes are separate entities that are stored as children of the player. Policies work their way down the tree, applying themselves to every entity with matching components.

Progress is slow, but it is happening. Just got it displaying nicely which section is selected with a little outline and background stripes. Makes it much easier to tell which section you are affecting when selecting different types such as paragraphs and titles.

I think I'm too far in... I can't help myself installing different Linux distributions to try 😅 This time it's NixOS and the experience so far is that its really cool!

More interface additions for the document editor! There are now select menus to change the general formatting, as well as the accent colour, although they are not functional yet...

Actually love the auto lock feature in games like Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last of Us Part 1. It lets me get the most out of the game even with my terrible aim on a controller...

Been trying to daily drive Linux (Mint) recently. I love how I can customise anything, even being able to completely change how the desktop taskbar looks with CSS.

I've even setup custom keyboard shortcuts to open up apps, like ALT+B to open my browser.

I'm also a bit of a musician and a generally creative person.

Some of my favourite games are Stardew Valley, The Last of Us, Eastward, and Honkai: Star Rail.
