Happy to be joining colleagues on my campus and around the country to speak about the importance of higher ed on Thursday. Sad that it is needed.

Boston checking in.

Finally saw another weird bike on campus today. Not a small wheeled foldy freak like my Brompton, but the opposite.

Libs of TikTok but the federal government this time.

Somehow I get the feeling, in the age of internet sabotage, this is not going to end well for these chuds. Imagine how much garbage they are going to have to sift through to get to any ‘credible’ reports.

Shout out to the city of Boston @boston.gov and the Mass DCR for always plowing and de-icing the SW Corridor and making my studded tires mostly unnecessary on my ride up to Back Bay this AM. Yay for functioning local governance making things better for folks.

The world is a mess but it is so nice to see everyone being excited about the beauty of the snow in Boston and posting pics today. Here is mine from just now.

Switching out wheel sets on the Brompton to put the studded tires on for the snow and ice on Worcester side of my commute tomorrow. Pretty excited for winter biking season. Seems earlier than the last few years. Hope it keeps up.

Pretty amazing back to back headlines for gauging just where this country is atm.

A student who attended my Deleuze/Spinoza and Antifascist Joy talk a few days ago knitted this for me during the talk. It is the greatest little thing and definitely joy-of-the-right-kind inducing.

Going back to read this again for a little hope in this moment. What other speculative utopian fiction are others reading?

I’ll be in Denver this week talking about Deleuze, Spinoza, and anti-fascism. Come through if you’re around.
