I was surprised by how much it overindexed on comedy, but that’s a great reflection of the last 25 years of TV. I get the one-person-per-show thing, but think there are 4 or 5 people from Mad Men and The Office (and Lost, Wire, etc) who are more deserving than some of these picks. And whither Parks?

Always thought “fuckin pie” makes more sense than “pumpkin pie” because if you’re rockin around the the christmas tree it means Thanksgiving is over, and all the pumpkin pie is long gone

So I’m really fortunate and grateful. Also I’ll lay off with the shameless self-promotion posts for a while now.

I started writing short fiction about two years ago. Had my first story published this year, then a second. Then, by some scheduling weirdness (academic calendars? intervention by the Valar?) I had three stories published in the past week by three journals I really admire.
