A queue formed early at the door. Lots of “airport gate boarding anxiety” energy. They clearly didn’t do their online check-in. Amateurs.

This inspired me to dig out a book to check if it contained a recipe for Dandelion and Burdock, but sadly no. Just the Dandelion wine.

Couldn’t agree more! Feel the same way about Yes.

Just quietly revisiting this prediction. :) I’m very happy for Chris Wood. All that graft has paid off and now he’s mentioned alongside the likes Salah, Haaland and Palmer. Massive achievement.

Hard to argue with your reasoning. Maybe this is the team and place where he makes his biggest mark. Lots to look forward to!

Ah, right. I hoped for better for him. Especially after his move to Newcastle. Sadly not to be.

I expect he’ll want to stay in England for a few more years, but as you say money talks.

Excited for the new Auckland team. Fingers crossed for a decent - non medieval- name.

Argh … so many typos in my message. You get what I mean though.

Thanks for the Muses confirmation. Love it! Ah, Rudman Gardens - the grassy backdrop to so many student shenanigans. :)

Really good article, Gareth. Everything is presented as a dichotomy these. Great idea to look back at the so call golden era.

You can see the same principle in action on Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum. The ‘notched’ cornices are designed to draw away water from the underside of the roof.

I saw them at Brixton Academy at about the same time. The crowd called for ‘Sit Down’. “Not on your life” came the answer. :)

Such a great band. Really regret missing their last Powerstation gig which they began from within audience apparently.

Ha! So true. A graphics calculator somehow found its way onto the school stationery list and it ended me. I swear it’s impossible to use.

Oh same. English, biology revision? Sure, let’s go. Maths? Nah uh.

Casio calculators truly jumped the shark after the FX-82B :)
