I have recently retired as a 111 call handler in Wales. It is a wonderful service. The staff are under huge pressure, given the demand, 24/7, thousands of calls every day, each patient wanting to be treated.. now. Patients need to be educated on what 111 can do and what it's for.

There is too much choice. I sit there some nights with no clue what to watch.
