Now we’re getting to some data. I’d love to see how your local data compares to the data gathered representing the globe as a whole. Would you be comfortable in sharing the local station? I’m surprised you have local readings of sea levels in the Midwest.

What’s funny is you didn’t even ask, just assumed my credentials or that I don’t understand the weather in the Midwest. lol

Also, your lack of understanding that weather changing IS NOT CLIMATE CHANGE is info it is of your listening skills. No one here, is saying that climate change = changing weather. It’s the rate of change of the average temperatures, sea level fluctuations, etc are at concerning rates.

I’m aware of the phrase, I lived in the Midwest for 30 years. Your problem is you look out the window, build your understanding from a few years worth of memory. Humans suck at detecting fluctuations over long periods of time, it’s why we use records and data for things like this.

“slammed with record snow fall and sub freezing temperatures” to “we always have freezing temps” “it was just for that day”, how do you not see your own change in tone and presentation of info? Do you normally change topics like that? No one here said it cause a season, thats Earth tilted axis.

While I agree there is an annoying push to make global changes the responsibility of the people barely impacting it (relative to the big industries), but half the battle recently is just getting people to see a problem. Sometime it feels good to do SOMETHING, even if it’s small.

You literally just stated there were record setting amounts of snow fall and sub freezing temps….thats literally a climate change. I guess I can expect that from someone who has a dick for a profile pic.
