I couldn't even change the R version in Positron. There isn't a button for rendering a QMD. I don't think I saw anything I liked. I rushed back to RStudio, which feels like home. They just have to add the Assistant (Agent Mode) to RStudio ASAP.

Absolutely! If you're in R, there's no need to leave your environment—#rpivotTable gives you the same quick filtering and pivoting capabilities as Excel (and more), but keeps everything reproducible and scriptable.
