This bird came to us after a run-in with a car & some unwanted attention from a domestic cat. After three weeks of care, it was ready to head back home.

This is only the second we've cared for in over a decade!
Interesting fact - American Pipits are one of the very few species of American songbirds that you can find nesting both in the Arctic tundra & in alpine meadows.
