I agree that the ending fit. I would have liked a happy ending, but like the experiences of the people in Asunder, like and want have little to do with it. “One of the most troublesome things in life is that what you do or do not want has very little to do with what does or does not happen.”

I’ve read the first four books and enjoyed all of them. I think the first one, Poison River, is my favorite. Kaipo Schwab is a wonderful narrator. Thank you!

That’s great! It never works out for me. I will have a dream that seems like the perfect story idea. But when I wake up and write it down, I’ll have less plot than a television commercial.
