Canadian public servant working in Ottawa to help support a strong and resilient Canadian economy.
My posting as Senior Trade Commissioner at Canada’s High Commission in the UK is coming to an end. It has been an honour to work on behalf of Canadians to increase bilateral trade and investment between 🇨🇦 and 🇬🇧. Back to Ottawa now and new challenges.

Yesterday HM King Charles III visited HMS Prince of Wales wearing his naval uniform. His Majesty was wearing his Canadian decorations ribbon bar. The red ribbon with the rosettes represents his 5 decades of service in honorary roles to the Canadian armed forces. And now as Canada’s Sovereign. 🇨🇦⚓️👑

Spent some time on the Thames foreshore today for some #mudlarking. 1600s pipe, pipe stem with maker’s mark, clothing pins and aiglets and a variety of pottery spanning several centuries. #Mudlark

It’s Christmas tree day on Trafalgar Square. The large 🎄 on the square is an annual gift from 🇳🇴 to the City of London. The tree in the lobby of Canada House is a bit smaller (and fake). Although we all know 🇨🇦 grows the best trees, if anyone wants to gift us a tree my DMs are open.

A lovely tradition at St. Mary’s Basilica in Kraków. Every hour a bugler plays the Hejnal in each direction from the bell tower. The bugle call at noon has been broadcast on Polish radio since 1927! culture.pl/en/article/t....

My sons and I visited Auschwitz-Birkenau. It was important to me that they see it in person and be able to tell others. Every visitor comes away as a new witness to the evil that was done there. Not everyone can visit but you can follow: @auschwitzmemorial.bsky.social
